QA/QC Welding Engineer
Location: Kalol, near Baroda, Gujarat
Experience : 3 to 7 Years
Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. (Metallurgy / Mechanical) / M.E (Welding)

Work Profile :

• Ensure Qualification & deputation of qualified welder & Welding operators as per production Plan by Production Engineers.
• · Preparation & Ensure compliance of Shop Weld & Test Plan Wed Map, WPS/PQR [As per ASME SEC IX and ISO 15614-1] etc.
• · Preparation of Material Technical Specifications to purchase welding consumables, Approval of welding consumables as per ASME and EN Standards.
• · Inspect & Review Certificates of Welding Consumables.
• · Qualification of Welders and Welding operators as per ASME and EN requirements.
• · Random Check of Welding Activities before, During and after Welding in Shop Floor.
• · Verify Welding Consumables are handled and issued as per procedures in Stores.
• · Ensure selection of appropriate Welding processes during manufacturing stages.
• · Check that machines, resources, fixtures are suitable, safe & in good working environment suitable to Welding and Fabrication.
• · Ensure Proper handling and storage of raw material in Stores & Shop floor to avoid contamination, damage etc.
• · Ensure Production test coupon are provided by fabrication team during Welding and sent to Quality for further testing (if applicable).
• · Ensure List of machinery and its maintenance is being done my maintenance.
• · Ensure Calibration, validation Preventive maintenance of machines as per plan & Checklists.
• · Ensure Components are sent for PWHT and Review Reports (if applicable).
• · Ensure Calibration and validation of equipment’s used for Inspection, Welding, and Calibration etc.
